To reach Atwater Reserve from I-10, take Exit 160 for Essen Lane and head south, away from the interstate. Continue straight as Essen Lane transitions into Staring Lane and then Gardere Lane, driving for a total of about 5 miles until the road ends at a roundabout. Take the third exit in the roundabout to turn left onto River Road (LA-327), and drive approximately 2 miles; the entrance to Atwater Reserve will be on your left.
